Group Mappings A user can create groups for specific mappings. This means that a user may have a group for their finances, one for their projects, one for their marketing, one for Startup (which is a default group) and so on. This is the basis for MegaMap and within each group the user may have multiple mappings to different servers and shares. Of course, for each mapping within each group, the user can provide individualized security information.

Auto-Map Detection MegaMap monitors the users system to verify if all mappings are consistent with the selected mapped group. Available options such as Enforce This Map provides the user with security warnings about an alteration in the present mapping.

Map Creation Wizard It is sometimes best to have the computer automate most of the work for you. In most cases, when you map drives, the entire process is a manual process. The Map Creation Wizard automates the bulk of the work for you and makes it easy to great mapped drives within your groups.

Group Security Rather than using a different password everywhere, MegaMap has a feature built-in to each group. This allows the user to use the same security setings for each map within a specific group. Of course, you can disable it for individual mappings.

Map Importing MegaMap allows you to import mapped group settings from MegaMap configuration files. These files can be imported dynamically and on startup allowing for central administrative control of user groups.
